Unfortunately, because the Untethered exploits employed by Evasion are patched in iOS 6.1.3, this jailbreak remains exclusive to A4-powered devices and is Tethered by default, which we’ll explain later. If you own a newer iDevice on a previous version of iOS 6, including 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2, we strongly advise following our evasi0n jailbreak tutorial, as it includes untethered support for all devices.

As mentioned above, the Redsn0w Jailbreak is compatible with, and can jailbreak, the following iPhone and iPod touch models running iOS 6.1.3.

• iPhone 4 (both GSM and CMDA models)
• iPhone 3GS
• iPod touch 4^th generation

While the following newer iDevices are incompatible with this 6.1.3 jailbreak, they are still able to be jailbroken on all previous versions of iOS 6, even 6.1.2, using evasion.
